Turkey is just perfect for a family adventure - short flights, warm seas, plenty of activities for adults and children and small friendly hotels. This popular tour takes in the ancient cities, including Ephesus, as well as the natural wonders such as the Bafa Lake and the frozen waterfalls. With lively towns, sandy beaches, boat trips, picnics and time for relaxation this is a well rounded trip enjoyed by everyone.

From here the boat will continue to the white sands of Iztuzu Beach where you can relax, swim and soak up the sun before boarding the boat back to Dalyan. Overnight in Dalyan (Hotel) Meals: breakfast, lunch

Day 3: Dalyan - Pamukkale

Today you will journey north out of the city to the famous ‘Cotton Castle.’ The geology at Pamukkale is nature at its most weird and wonderful, the travertine sculptures or ‘frozen waterfalls’ have amazed vistors since Roman times. Nearby are the remains of Hierapolis with its magnificent theatre (still largely intact) and Plutonium which holds within it the gateway to Hades! Overnight in Pamukkale (Hotel) Meals: breakfast

Day 4: Pamukkale - Selcuk

This morning you will head west through typical Turkish farmland to the stunning Aegean coast. Here you will send a couple fo nights at the delightful town of Selcuk, very close to the site of Ephesus. In the afternoon the family can enjoy a traditional Turkish bath at the local hamam. Day 5: In Ephesus

Once the ‘Metropolis of Asia’ Ephesus once had 250,000 inhabitants and was visited by St Paul as well as Mark Anthony and Cleopatra. Up to 70,000 people would pack its stadium to watch chariot races and its Great Theatre could hold an incredible 25,000!

Today its ruins are among the finest in the whole of the Mediterranean region. Having wondered through this incredible site you will continue to the Temple of Artemis, considered by some to be one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Overnight in Selcuk (Hotel) Meals: breakfast

Day 6: Selcuk - Bodrum

After breakfast you will continue your journey to the Bodrum Penninsular. En-route you can stop for a picnic lunch on the shores of Bafa Lake. The Lake is a beautiful place to marvel at both the natural beauty and the incredible 2000 years of history which is still evident in the ruins that surround the lake.
