Peru

We have designed two great eco-tours in Peru. Peru amazingly has 84 of the 103 existing ecosystems and 28 of the 32 climates on the planet, making the country the most ecologically diverse in the world. Because of this, travellers can see coast, desert, mountain, grassland and tropical rainforest in just a short stay. For students Peru is a great place to learn about indigenous cultures, ancient civilisations, tropical ecology and conservation, not too mention a little Spanish.

Diverse earth’s own operations director, Lucy Bhageerutty started out as a resident naturalist guide in the Peruvian Amazon and the company has strong links with the ongoing conservation work being carried out in the Manu Reserve.
Our tours are sample itineraries only, if you are interested in a tour for your school and would like to alter any of these programmes, to better suit your needs, please call our head office.
